Arsene seals deal for teen Campbell

Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger has made his fourth summer signing after snapping up Costa Rican teenager Joel Campbell.

According to The Sun, the striker, 19, was signed from Deportivo Saprissa in his homeland for a fee believed to be around £900,000.

Campbell, who has six international caps, joins new boys Carl Jenkinson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gervinho.

He said: "I am happy to be here. I want to focus on doing well for Arsenal.

"I'm a player who knows how to score goals.

"Arsene Wenger is a manager of immense quality. He knows how to use youngsters' ability.

"I have been watching Arsenal since I was a kid and I took this decision because I know I have a possibility to become a better player."
