The Dubai Sports Council (DSC) has enlisted the services of former Tunisian skipper Zubair Baya to conduct a series of lectures on professionalism in football.

Baya will be key speaker at a programmed entitled ‘Professional Players’ Knowledge and Information Sharing Programme’ to be held at five clubs in Dubai this month.
“Professionalism is no longer about just delivering on the field. It is much more than merely playing for a team. It is a lifestyle and related to everything a player would do,” said Baya who played as young professional in the Bundesliga with SC Freiburg and also in Turkey with Besiktas.
Dubai-based Baya, 39, also serves as an analyst on the Dubai TV in its coverage of the Bundesliga.
The former Tunisian star, who won 81 caps, will visit Al Wasl, Al Ahli, Dubai Club, Al Nasr and Al Shabab starting from Monday and address the senior team players on issues regarding professionalism.
