Nicklas Bendtner sparked a Sunderland comeback with a goal and an assist to secure a 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.

James Morrison beat defender Wes Brown to head home West Brom's opener after just four minutes and the visitors were 2-0 up one minute later when Shane Long headed in Chris Brunt's curling free kick.

Bendtner scored his first goal for Sunderland since his move from Arsenal in the 24th from a deflected shot. The Denmark striker then crossed for Ahmed Elmohamady to head in the equaliser two minutes later.
