Betis beats Mallorca 1-0 in Spain

Ruben Castro's late goal gave Real Betis a 1-0 win over Mallorca on Sunday in the Spanish league.

The Spanish striker was well-placed at the far post for his volley after a corner kick was unintentionally flicked on by a Mallorca defender in the 86th minute.

Betis had hit the woodwork three times in the first half and had various chances after the break.

It was Castro's second late winner in as many weeks as Betis maintain its perfect start to the season.

Later, Athletic Bilbao visits Espanyol as both teams look for their first win of the season.
