Chelsea may have been stunned in to action with news that Brazilian whizkid Moura is a done deal at Manchester United.

With their own Brazilian chase for Oscar not yet a certaintly, suddenly, hazard and Marin do not look enough for the Blues to combat the Manchester clubs – one of whom will likely get Robin Van Persie as well.

Enter Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund.

Chelsea are now understood to have made a play for the Polish striker, once a Manchester United target.

According to the Daily Mail, the European champions are understood to have made an initial offer of £13million rising to £17m for the striker.

Napoli’s  expensive Edinson Cavani is also a possible target for the blues, but Lewandowski is seen as having more value.
