Chelsea in pole position to land Cavani

Chelsea are leading the way to land Napoli's prolific hitman Edinson Cavani who is also wanted by European rivals.
Representatives of the 25-year-old Uruguayan were in London on Friday to discuss a proposed £30 million transfer to Stamford Bridge, The Sun claimed in an exclusive.
Chelsea have opened talks for the striker despite being managerless after the exit of Andre Villas-Boas.
Cavani has become one of the hottest properties in Europe taking his tally to 26 goals this term with a double strike to book Napoli's place in the final of the Coppa Italia in midweek.
The Italian club are willing to cash in this summer on Cavani but it would come at a heavy price.
Liverpool and Manchester City have also shown interest in the player but Chelsea seem to be in pole position.
Kenny Dalglish would like to pair Cavani with his compatriot Luis Suarez but Liverpool would need to finance the move by selling Andy Carroll.
Manchester City are also keen but to address new financial fair play rules they would need to sell before recruiting.
Chelsea's biggest competition is likely to come from Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich.
