Rio de Janeiro side Fluminense are celebrating their fourth Brazilian title after taking an unassailable lead with three games of the season remaining.
Brazilian international Fred scored twice, including the winner three minutes from time, in the side's 3-2 win over Palmeiras on Sunday.
That result lifted Fluminense up to 76 points, ten points clear of their closest rivals, Gremio, and 11 in front of Atletico Mineiro.
The title comes in the year the side are celebrating their 100th anniversary.
Fluminenses' previous league titles were in 1970, 1984 and 2010.
