Giroud disappoints Arsenal with waiting game

Arsenal target Olivier Giroud will not decide his future until after Euro 2012, according to The Sun.

This will come as a setback for Arsene Wenger who is keen to make early signings this summer and is ready with a £15 million summer raid..

Wenger instructed French-based scout Gilles Grimandi to compile a dossier on the French international striker who is rated at £50 million, but has a £12.8m release clause.

The 6ft 3in striker, 25, fired Montpellier to their first French title with 21 goals.

Giroud found the net 26 times this season and would create a potent attacking force for the Gunners with Robin Van Persie and Lukas Podolski.
