Juve plot £30m swoop of Liverpool's Suarez

Juventus are plotting a £30 million summer move for Liverpool’s controversial striker Luis Suarez, according to reports.

The Italian giants are in second spot in Serie A and want Suarez to spearhead the club’s renewed assault on the Champions League.

Anfield boss Kenny Dalglish will battle to hold onto the Uruguayan whom has backed staunchly during the racist issue with Manchester United's Patrice Evra.

But Suarez, who was slapped an eight-game ban by the Football Association, is not happy with the way the affair was handled by the club.

The Liverpool management and even Dalgish turned on him for his refusal to shake hands with Evra.

Juve coach Antonio Comte who is an admirer wants to make Suarez his main summer buy.

The forward’s agent Pere Guardiola has been sounded out by the Italian side with the message being passed on to the Liverpool board.

Liverpool owner John Henry would be interested in selling Suarez because of the embarrassment he brought on the club. And £30 million offer could be an irresistible transfer fee.

Paris St Germain, managed by former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, have also expressed an interest in Suarez.
