Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has blasted Paul Scharner for branding Luis Suarez a 'diver' last week.

West Brom's Austrian midfielder was fuming at the way Suarez won a first-half penalty in the 2-0 win at The Hawthorns.

But Kenny reckons the former Wigan man should try and make some headlines for what he does on the pitch — not for what he says off it.

The Anfield boss said: "Oh well, he's a good player. That's him who come off injured?

"Players should just concentrate on getting publicity for what they do on the pitch.

"For us, Luis Suarez does fantastic — there is nothing for us to defend about him."

Dalglish insists the Uruguayan striker has no case to answer as there was clearly a foul on him by Jerome Thomas at The Hawthorns.

Liverpool host Swansea at Anfield today and Dalglish said: "I don't know how anyone can accuse him of diving.

"I never watched the TV after the game but at the time you can tell there was contact.

Cardiff-born Craig Bellamy can expect a hot reception from Swans fans.
