Mancini sends SOS to Man City: Buy now

Roberto Mancini has told the Manchester City board he needs new players now, according to the British tabloid 'The Sun'.
The FA Cup winners have failed to make a major signing this summer, while star striker Carlos Tevez wants to quit.
Boss Mancini said: “We have to buy players, then we can say what we can win.
“We want to improve from last year when we were joint second on points with Chelsea.
“We play in the Champions League for the first time and we want to do a good job.
“We need time and I hope before the Community Shield (August 7) we can add other players.
“We need to wait this week or 10 days. We have two or three targets but it depends.
“At the moment we need a few players for competition.”
City missed out on Udinese’s Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez after he joined Barcelona for £23 million.
They have also chased Arsenal’s Samir Nasri and £38 million Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero this summer.
But the only new boys at the Etihad Stadium are defenders Gael Clichy, a £7 million buy from Arsenal, and Partizan Belgrade’s £6 million Stefan Savic.
Mancini insists the door is not closed on Tevez after his £40 million switch to Corinthians collapsed.
The Argentinian still wants to leave and was photographed in Sardinia staying at the same hotel as Inter Milan’s technical director Marco Branca this week.
Mancini said: “I have not spoken to Carlos yet, his telephone doesn’t work. At the moment, Carlos is still a City player - just like he was three days ago.
“In the future we will see what can happen.
“Carlos wants to leave, he wants to go back to Argentina for his family. The club agreed to sell him because of this.”
