Argentinian footballer Maximiliano Biancucchi, a cousin of Barcelona star Lionel Messi, has accused Marcelo Recanate, the suspended boss of his Paraguayan club Olimpia, of racism, the player's lawyer revealed on Tuesday.
"He (Biancucchi) has sent a letter and all the documents which FIFA will receive on Thursday," lawyer Ricardo Scarone told radio 970 AM in the Paraguayan capital.
Olimpia striker Biancucchi has accused Recanate of calling him a "black dwarf" and being a "disrepectful and irreverent Argentine".
Recanate also allegedly insulted Biancucchi's Brazilian agent Marques Regis, saying: "Regis is persona non grata: swindler, liar, Brazilian child murderer ..."
The Olympia president was reportedly angered by negotiations conducted by Biancucchi's agent for a transfer to Qatar, and in retaliation announced that Biancucchi would not play for Olimpia until the end of his contract on December 31.
"Biancucchi is severely affected by the words of Marcelo (Recanate). He is seeing out his contract for love of the fans," his lawyer said.
Recanate was suspended for four months by the Paraguay Football Association last August after racially insulting a colleague.
Scarone added that his client was looking for Recanate to be banned from holding office for ten years and a 30,000 Swiss Francs ($32,000) fine.
