The race to sign Robin Van Persie just got hotter.
Arsenal’s hope of keeping him also seemed to dim with news that now Paris Saint-Germain will fight Manchester City for Arsenal’s Dutch hitman.
According to British media reports, PSG director Leonardo has made enquiries as to the Holland international’s availability this summer.
A revolution is on at PSG as well, with Carlo Ancelotti at the helm. The club’s new Qatari owners will not be shy with the cheque book either.
Van Persie has a year left on his contract.
Earlier this week, City boss Roberto Mancini when asked about Van Persie, said, “Van Persie is an Arsenal player, I won't say anything.”
Van Persie is also on the wanted list of Juventus and Barcelona.
