The Croatian Football Federation broke the 100,000 euro barrier for fines on Tuesday after UEFA slapped a 30,000 euro penalty on them for the behaviour of their fans at their final Euro 2012 group game against Spain.
The Croatians - who were fined 80,000 euros earlier in the tournament for racist taunts aimed at Italy's Mario Balotelli during their group game - were held to account for the supporters unfurling racist banners and letting off flares during the match which ended in a 1-0 defeat to Spain and saw them exit the tournament.
Their Portuguese counterparts were fined 7,000 euros for one of their fans trying to invade the pitch during the 1-0 win over Czech Republic in the quarter-finals.
