UEFA says no diving charge for Czech forward Rezek

UEFA says Scottish football officials have not supplied evidence to justify charging Czech Republic forward Jan Rezek with diving to earn a 90th-minute penalty in a European Championship qualifier.

Scottish Football Association President Campbell Ogilvie wrote to UEFA President Michel Platini last week requesting a two-match ban for Rezek.

UEFA says it asked the SFA "to provide further evidence for their case. Nothing has been received to this date."

Rezek went easily to ground under a defender's challenge, earning the penalty which Michal Kadlec scored to salvage a 2-2 draw in Glasgow on Sept. 3.

Scotland trails the Czechs by two points with two matches left as they seek a playoff berth behind group leader Spain.
