Wenger fury at 'disrespectful' Xavi

Arsene Wenger slammed Barcelona star Xavi on Wednesday night for claiming Cesc Fabregas is ‘suffering’ at Arsenal, according to 'The Sun'.

Barca midfielder Xavi made the comments on the Catalan club’s official website.

Gunners boss Wenger rapped: “If it is true it’s very disrespectful and it’s not the first time Xavi has been very disrespectful towards Arsenal.

“What is important is that Cesc Fabregas is contracted at Arsenal Football Club. That is a fact and Arsenal want to keep him.”

Xavi had said: “Cesc told me he was suffering because he wants to come here. It’s what he wants most and he’s done all he can to come, he wants Arsenal to let him leave.

“He made it clear everything depends on the selling club.”

Barca have refused to up their £31.6 million offer for the £40m-rated Gunners captain.
