Who gets Dempsey? Liverpool or Arsenal?

American Premier League star has moved closer to the Fulham exit door by missing their pre-season trip to Switzerland, according to The Sun.

The £10 million-rated striker has been linked with Liverpool and appears keen to leave Craven Cottage.

However Arsene Wenger and Arsenal also have been keeping an eye on the striker and depending on the Van Persie situation might consider a move.

He did not jet out with the rest of Martin Jol’s squad and will sit out their Swiss training camp and a friendly against Nice on Saturday.

Fulham boss Jol, who insists Dempsey is not yet ready to play, will not let him leave cheaply but risks losing last season’s top scorer for nothing when his contract runs out next year.
