Why nobody is scared of Arsenal anymore…

It’s open season if you’re hunting Arsenal.

Even the man who saved Arsenal’s season with a gift of a goal on Saturday, Swansea goalkeeper Michel Vorm laid into the beseiged Gunners.

Vorm threw away, literally, three points at the Emirates but was quoted by The Daily Mirror as saying that the only intimidating thing about Arsenal is their stadium.

He then compared them to upstarts Manchester City and said City are in a different league.

Speaking to the Mirror (https://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Arsenal-have-no-confidence-says-Swansea-goalkeeper-Michel-Vorm-article797629.html), Vorm said: “I think the stadium was scary. But they play with no confidence and with new players it’s hard for them to fill in the places… I think they have the quality but they don’t have the confidence. “

Is it time for the Wayne Rooney versus Lionel Messi comparison?
