Ashok Kumar and Suresh Shewakramani a member’s guest invitational tournament held on Saturday at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.

Forty-six members attended inviting 46 guests to take part in the friendly competition and to enjoy an evening BBQ on the Lake View terrace.
 
Kumar and Shewakramani gelled extremely well in the pairs better ball format and tallied an impressive 44 points to take home a night’s stay in the Park Hyatt Dubai. 
 
Both players contributed ten and eight times to the scorecard so great balance was struck to card such an impressive score.
 
Runners up were Shashi Raghavan and Neil Chansome with a superb 43 points and in third place on an impressive 41 points by virtue of a count back over the last nine holes was Vikas Mathur and Amandeep Sandu.
 
I.K Kang fired a superb iron shot to several feet on the fifth hole to claim nearest the pin for the day. 
 
Ashok Sindu got the longest drive on the 12th hole with a mighty blow down the middle of the fairway. 
 
Prior to play a putting competition was held and Adhip Shanker claimed the prize with 50 points from a draw with three other players who also scored 50 points. 
 
The pro’s set up the Trackman radar technology on the driving range prior to play and staged a longest drive competition. Young Sydney D’Souza claimed the prize with a drive of 278.1 yards.
