India-Pak match spectator dies of heart attack

An ardent Indian cricket fan who was watching the T20 match being played between India and Pakistan at Bangalore's Chinnaswamy Stadium suffered a fatal heart attack towards the fag end of the match while Pakistan were batting.

The 47-year-old man had gone to watch the match live from the stadium with his family, reports IANS on IBN Live.

He was feeling unwell and had difficulty breathing and rushed to the nearby Mallya Hospital by ambulance, he passed away after being admitted there.

The doctors said that the match results (India lost the match) did not have anything to do with his heart attack and it was a mere coincidence that the man fell ill while India were on the verge of defeat.

India lost to Pakistan by five wickets. This was the first time that Pakistan defeated India in any T20 match.
