IPL Bangalore vs Delhi: Daredevils stun Kohli's RCB

Delhi Daredevils rode on a magnificent century by Quinton de Kock (108) to stun Royal Challengers Bangalore by seven wickets under lights at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.

Chasing a daunting target of 193, de Kock featured in a 134-run stand for the third wicket with Karun Nair (54) as DD won with five balls to spare making 192-3 in 19.1 overs.

De Kock's 51-ball knock was studded with 15 fours and three sixes while Nair cracked six boundaries and a six.

Earlier, RCB powered by half centuries from AB de Villiers (55) and Virat Kohli (79) made a formidable 191 for five against Delhi Daredevils in Match 11 of IPL9 after being put into bat.

After Gayle went for a duck, de Villiers and Kohli figured in a stand of 107 before Shane Watson weighed in a 19-ball 33 during a breezy 63-run stand with Kohli for the third wicket.

Shami was the pick of the bowlers claiming two for 34.

Braithwaite breaks the 107-run partnership as AB de Villiers holes out to Shami. RCB 107-2, 11.2 overs.

Kohli sizzles cracking boundaries on either side of the wicket off Shami while AB de Villiers launches him into midwicket for the first six of the match. RCB 35-1, 4 overs.

Kohli also opens his account by steering the first ball from Morris to the third man fence.

AB de Villiers opens RCB's account by slapping Zaheer through the off for a couple of boundaries. RCB 8-1, 1 over.

Zaheer strikes with his third delivery as Gayle edges and Duminy takes a superb catch at slip. RCB 0-1, 0.3 overs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore face Delhi Daredevils in Match 11  of IPL at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Sunday.

RCB opened their season with a dominant performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Delhi were outclassed by the Kolkata Knight Riders in their opening match, before the team bounced back well to defeat Kings XI Punjab by eight wickets.

Royal Challengers Bangalore lead 9-5 in head to head against Delhi Daredevils.
