Liverpool close in on 15-year old Swiss striker

Liverpool are close to buying a 15-year old striker from Switzerland.

According to reports in the British press, Reds’ boss Kenny Dalglish is closing in Swiss Nicholas Hunziker.

Dalglish's scouting boss Frank McParland watched the Basel boy in action last week and hopes to agree a deal for him shortly.

Hunziker, just 15, has been on the Kop's radar since he notched a hat-trick for his country's youth team.

Hunziker can move for a cheap fee and the Anfield club will try to sort out the details quickly ahead of English and European rivals, according to the Daily Mirror.
