Aen Dubai open with win in UAQ-Ramadan T20 Bash

Aen Dubai eased past Brothergas CC to register a close five-run victory in the opening match of the UAQ-Ramadan T20 Bash- Season1.

The tournament organised by the Umm Al Quwain Cricket Club, is held under the supervision of the Emirates Cricket Board and played under the auspices of the Ajman Cricket Council and Domestic Cricket Development Committee.

Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Aen Dubai openers Abbas Badri (25, 25b, 2x4, 1x6) and Ali Boriawala (28, 25b, 5x4) got off to a flying start. After a strong foundation was laid Murtaza Turab Ali batted on an aggressive note to smash a 37-ball 69 supported by 10 fours and a six to further enhance the score.

Aen Dubai posted 181 for seven in 20 overs.

Brothergas CC fell short of the target as they managed 176 for seven.
