As part of its corporate social responsibility commitment, Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), is extending its support as a gold sponsor of the fifth edition of the Fazza Championship, the sports event for special needs athletes.

Under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, the event is organised by Dubai Centre for Special Needs.

More than 400 athletes from over 45 countries are participating at the three-month Fazza Championship tournament.

Saif Al Falasi, Executive Director EHSQ and Corporate Affairs at ENOC, said: “ENOC’s sponsorship support to Fazza Championship is a testament to the company’s commitment towards the community. We empower the disadvantaged members of society by encouraging them to participate in sports, which instills in them self-confidence, further boost relationship building and team spirit.”

The Fazza Championships was launched five years ago and was added to the Dubai calendar in 2009.
