Spain beats Croatia 25-22 in handball

Spain defeated Croatia 25-22 Tuesday to join defending champion Norway in the semifinals of the London Olympics women's handball competition.

It's the first time that Spain, which won bronze at last year's world championships, reached the final four at the Olympics. It will play France or Montenegro for a place in Saturday's final.

Earlier, Norway rallied from a six-goal deficit in the second half to beat Brazil 21-19.
