Dubai: From June 11 to July 19, you can’t be blamed for being glued to your TV screen. It’s time for the FIFA World Cup 2026!
Over the next month, 48 teams will play more than 100 games across three countries, in the largest World Cup ever, so block out your summer and get comfortable. The tournament begins today, June 11, in Mexico City, with hosts Mexico facing off against South Africa. The final will be held on July 19 in New Jersey, US.
Here’s everything you need to know about where and when to watch World Cup matches in Dubai.
What time do the matches air?
Kick-offs range from late night to early morning in the UAE. During the group stage, matches will be played during the following four windows: 11pm, 2am, 5am, and between 8am and 11am.
Where can I watch the matches?
In Dubai, you have several options for watching the matches from the comfort of your home, or in venues and fan zones around the city. If you’d like to watch it live on your TV or another screen, you will need to pay for subscription-based platforms.
Here are some viewing options to note:
1. beIN Sports
Matches will be broadcast live on beIN Sports, exclusively across 24 Middle East and North Africa countries. You can expect coverage across six dedicated beIN Sports Max channels, with the option of Arabic, English and French programming.
In the UAE, viewers can also watch the World Cup through beIN Sports on satellite, which delivers World Cup content straight to your television, or beIN Connect, which is a streaming platform that offers live coverage on mobile, laptop and smart TV devices. There’s also TOD by beIN, a standalone streaming option that offers viewers more flexibility than locking into a satellite package.

2. Talabat Pro
Viewers in Dubai and the rest of the emirates can also access World Cup content through Talabat Pro. Eligible annual Talabat Pro subscribers receive a complimentary one-year TOD entertainment subscription, which includes World Cup streaming, so it may be worth checking out.

3. YouTube
YouTube has officially partnered with FIFA to become a preferred platform for the World Cup, this year. Although you won’t be able to watch full matches on the streaming platform, YouTube and FIFA are permitting its media partners to live-stream the first 10 minutes of every match, share extended highlights, behind-the-scenes footage, Shorts and other engaging content that resonates with World Cup fans.

4. Fan zones
Dedicated World Cup fan zones have been set up at various restaurants and community venues across Dubai. Many of these places host late-night matches and even breakfast gatherings and are perfect for group watches with family or friends.
Expect giant LED screens, a vibrant football-forward atmosphere, and plenty of themed snacks and drinks at hand. Several venues feature games, live entertainment, and activations such as stamp cards and spin-the-wheel prizes. Others offer international menus based on the teams playing on the day, for an epicurean twist.
Whether your favourite team wins or loses, a night out at a fan zone is likely not going to leave you disappointed.
