Dubai: With Dubai’s Global Village opening its doors to public on October 14, there are multiple ways in which you can get to the popular family destination, including taking a bus.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced earlier this week that it would be resuming its dedicated transport services for Global Village, Season 31.

So, whether you are coming from Sharjah, Deira or Al Barsha, here’s how you can take a bus to Global Village.

Four bus routes

RTA operates buses from major transport hubs across the UAE. For example, the Al Rashidiya Bus station is right next to the Centrepoint Metro station in Al Rashidiya, and is often the first stop for people coming from Sharjah, wishing to take public transport. Similarly, the other routes cater to popular areas like Bur Dubai, Deira and Al Barsha.

Here are the four bus routes:

  • Route 102: From Al Rashidiya Bus Station to Global Village, every 60 minutes.
  • Route 103: From Union Bus Station (next to the Union Metro station in Deira) to Global Village, every 40 minutes.
  • Route 104: From Al Ghubaiba Bus Station (next to the Al Ghubaiba Metro station in Bur Dubai) to Global Village, every 60 minutes.
  • Route 106: From Mall of the Emirates Bus Station to Global Village, every 60 minutes.

It is important to note that these are two-way routes, so you can also take the same bus back from Global Village at the end of your trip.

How much does the trip cost?

The ticket prices for all bus routes come up to AED 12, one way.
