What is the UAE Grand Tour?
At the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026, which concluded on September 17, the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism announced the launch of the UAE Grand Tour platform, designed in collaboration with Rocket International, a global destination management company.
The UAE Grand Tour is a first-of-its-kind national tourism initiative that offers itineraries covering more than one emirate. Residents and visitors can select durations of up to 14 days, and explore curated routes across all seven emirates of the country.
The initiative showcases the diversity of destinations and experiences across the UAE’s cities. It also encourages visitors to explore more than one destination within the country, helping them extend their stay and increase tourism spending.
The launch of the UAE Grand Tour coincided with the launch of Visit UAE, the country’s first unified national tourism identity at the federal level. It’s designed to present the UAE as a single, integrated destination by unifying national tourism offerings under a trusted identity.

How does it work?
The UAE Grand Tour takes the effort and guesswork out of planning a travel itinerary.
There are two ways to pick an itinerary, which UAE Grand Tour calls a ‘journey’. You can either select by experiences (what you’re in the mood to see), or browse the journeys themselves (what routes/itineraries you’d like to explore). You will also be able to enter the number of travellers in your trip, and your selected start date.
The website will then share the cost of the itinerary, and display a day-by-day breakdown of the following:
- All the emirates you will travel to, based on the selected journey.
- The landmarks and sites you will visit, including brief details about each place, where it is located on UAE’s map, and a 360° virtual snapshot of it so you can preview it beforehand.
- Daily itinerary, including photo stops, meal breaks, and arrival and departure timings from hotels.
- Any major public events happening in the emirate during your visit.
- Curated overnight hotel stays.
- Interactive animated driving route map.
What are the curated journeys available on the UAE Grand Tour?
There are several curated journeys available for you to pick from, depending on your budget, your interests, and the number of days you would like to travel. You can also navigate to these journeys by selecting the type of experience that most appeals to you. For instance, if you choose the ‘Desert & Dunes’ experience, it leads you to the Grand Adventure journey.
Here are the seven curated journeys currently available:
1. Grand Classic
