Dubai: If you have outstanding financial obligations or fines that need to be paid to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), you can make the payments more manageable through a flexible payment option offered by the authority.

On July 4, the authority announced that it was adding Tabby, a UAE based easy payment service provider, to its flexible payment option service, making it easier for residents to pay any fines or services fees.

The service, which was launched in October 2025, aims to facilitate payments that need to be made by UAE residents by offering flexible, scheduled payment options, ensuring they can continue receiving services without interruption.

Here’s everything you need to know about the service.

Easy payment options

The easy payment service is available for any payments above AED 500, in collaboration with UAE banks and service providers.

You can split the payments into smaller instalments from three to 12 months through this service.

How to apply for flexible payments through UAE banks

If you have a credit card issued by any one of the following UAE banks, you can avail of the easy payment service offered by the ICP:

1. First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)

2. Dubai Commercial Bank

3. Mashreq Bank

4. Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB)

5. Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB)

6. Emirates Islamic

7. Emirates NBD

8. RAKBANK (National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah)

9. Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB)

10. Commercial International Bank (CIB)

According to the ICP, if a customer holds a credit card issued by one of the participating banks, they can pay the full amount through the Authority’s website, then contact the bank to arrange the instalment plan, via the customer service centre, smart services on the bank’s app, or by visiting the nearest branch, according to the approved terms and conditions.

The request is forwarded to the bank to start evaluation and approval procedures. Once the bank reviews the customer’s financial situation and verifies eligibility according to its internal policies, the customer is notified of approval or rejection via SMS or an official electronic notification.

If approved, the Easy Payment plan will be activated automatically and linked to your bank account, to enable payments according to the specified schedule.

How to apply for flexible payments through a Visa card

The ICP has also tied up with Visa, the global payments technology company, so if you have a credit card issued by Visa, you can also split payments over AED 500 into three- to 12-month instalments.

According to the ICP, at the payment stage, you will have the option to select ‘Visa’ and choose an instalment period of 3 to 12 months. “The process will be carried out in accordance with the initiative’s terms and conditions,” the authority states on its website.

How to apply for flexible payments through Tabby

The latest update in this service, to support customers, is the option to select an easy payment plan through Tabby.

When you reach the payment stage, simply choose the Tabby option, which will allow you to pay for transactions of up to AED 20,000 through instalments over three to 12 months.

Your eligibility for the service, however, is subject to your credit assessment.
