Abu Dhabi has announced temporary freeze on rent hikes across the city. This will apply to all residential, commercial, and industrial tenancy contracts, Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre announced. According to this, the renewals of all existing contracts will be processed at a 0% increase for the duration of the measure. Any new tenancy contract on a previously rented unit will be offered at the same rental value as the preceding contract, the centre said.
