Dubai: Twenty years of leadership by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, have established an exceptional model that combines a hands-on approach, trust in people and the transformation of vision into opportunities and tangible achievements, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum has said.
Sheikh Ahmed, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group, and Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, made the remarks as Sheikh Hamdan marked 20 years of leading The Executive Council of Dubai.
In a post on his X account, Sheikh Ahmed said: “From the school of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which made ambition a culture and people the ultimate goal of development, emerged a vision led by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum over 20 years of work and responsibility.”
During that period, Sheikh Hamdan established “a leadership model that combines a presence on the ground, trust in people, and the transformation of vision into opportunities and achievements that are reflected in the lives of society and the future of Dubai,” he added.
Sheikh Ahmed said the past two decades had demonstrated an approach to leadership in which responsibility was translated into daily action and serving people became the measure of genuine impact.
“Twenty years of leadership that made responsibility a daily practice and serving people the measure of real impact, while presenting to the world an approach that always looks beyond what is ahead,” he said.
“We congratulate His Highness on this journey and take pride in what Dubai has achieved under his executive leadership. We look forward with confidence to a new chapter of work, leadership and sustainable impact.”
