Dubai: The Arab Media Summit 2026 will host the Euronews Forum for the first time outside Europe, with the event set to take place on the second day of the summit.
Scheduled to run from 15 to 17 September 2026, the Arab Media Summit will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and Chairperson of the Arab Media Summit Organising Committee, welcomed the partnership with Euronews, describing the forum as an important addition to the summit's programme.
She said the inclusion of the Euronews Forum in the largest edition of the summit to date reflects its growing profile as a global media platform and its expanding role in shaping the future of media at both regional and international levels.
Al Marri noted that the forum will be one of eight specialised forums featured at this year's summit, bringing broader international perspectives to discussions and creating opportunities to exchange ideas on the changes shaping the media industry and how the sector can prepare for the future.
Pedro Vargas David, Chairman of Euronews and Chief Executive Officer of Alpac Capital, said the future of media will be shaped by greater connectivity across markets, cultures and perspectives.
He added that Euronews looks forward to contributing its international and European experience to the Arab Media Summit and engaging with media leaders from across the region and beyond on innovation and trusted journalism.
The Arab Media Summit 2026 will feature a range of specialised events, including the Arab Media Forum, Government Communication Forum, Arab Youth Media Forum, Arab Social Media Influencers Summit, Films Forum, Games Forum and Dubai PodFest, alongside several international media forums.
