Dubai: Want to be a content creator? Now, you can make it official, thanks to a custom-made programme by the Dubai Press Club (DPC) in collaboration with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.
Yesterday, the DPC announced a new phase of its Dubai Content Creators Programme, which equips creators with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to produce high-quality, impactful content at international standards.
Here’s all you need to know about this cutting-edge programme.
What is the Dubai Content Creators Programme?
The Dubai Content Creators Programme is dedicated to developing cultural and creative content that reflects Dubai’s identity, values, and dynamic cultural landscape. It will help prepare a new generation of creators, artists and influencers, by strengthening their capabilities, and equipping them with practical tools, advanced storytelling techniques, and creative production skills that are aligned with global best practices.
The announcement by the DPC marks the third phase of the Dubai Content Creators Programme. The first phase focused on economic content in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Economy, while the second centred on health and science content in partnership with Dubai Health.
How does it work?
The Dubai Content Creators Programme will run from June 8 to June 19, 2026, and will feature 40 hours of specialised workshops and interactive sessions. Participants will gain insights into content creation across major digital platforms, visual storytelling, audience engagement strategies and emerging technologies shaping the future of digital media, including artificial intelligence (AI)-powered content creation tools. The Programme will be delivered in collaboration with leading digital platforms and seasoned experts.
What does the Programme cover?
The curriculum covers five main topics:
- Storytelling and creative writing: Stories are at the core of any content. Master the art of crafting compelling stories that captivate audiences and drive engagement.
- Audience engagement: Learn how to design content that sparks interaction across platforms, even as you learn how to use the tools to measure impact and target the right audience.
- Multimedia production: Immerse yourself in video, audio, and visual design, and understand how to blend these elements to amplify your message. The programme utilises infographics to make complex information clear.
- Creative content development: Unlock the skills you need to create innovative content that resonates with your audience’s needs and expectations.
- Research and analysis: Gain expertise in research strategies, using various sources to find and analyse relevant information.
The Programme prepares you for a second phase that offers specialised training in various areas, including economics, culture, sports, tourism and society. Each domain concentrates on distinct aspects of specialised content creation and strategies for effectively tailoring messages to engage the target audience.
