UAE weather: Clear summer skies across Dubai and Abu Dhabi today

NCM warns of high waves in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman, while temperatures stay in the mid-30s across the UAE.

Dubai: It's the perfect summer morning. You can expect azure skies today, around the UAE, but if you’re planning to head to the beach this morning, it’s best to stay cautious. 

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) warned that northwesterly winds will climb to 40km/hr, which means rough seas, with wave heights reaching seven feet in the Sea of Oman, and six feet in the Arabian Gulf, until 10am today.

Temperatures across the UAE are slightly higher than yesterday, but are expected to remain steady in the mid-30s during the day time, dropping below 30°C in the evening. 

With minimal cloud cover today, ensure you’re limiting sun exposure and are adequately protected against the sun when you’re outdoors, with sunblock, hats, and ultraviolet (UV)-blocking sunglasses.

Dubai: 28°C – 35°C

Abu Dhabi: 28°C – 37°C

Sharjah: 28°C – 36°C

Ajman: 27°C – 34°C

Umm Al Quwain: 25°C – 37°C

Ras Al Khaimah: 24°C – 37°C

Fujairah: 29°C – 38°C

Al Ain: 24°C – 38°C

Liwa: 24°C – 41°C
