Al Shera’a: A global model for future buildings
Visitors were introduced to Al Shera’a, described as the tallest, largest and smartest net-positive government building in the world. The facility is designed to generate more clean energy than it consumes, setting a global benchmark for sustainable development.
The building integrates advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics and AI, creating a smart system capable of sensing, analysing and responding to operational needs in real time.
Spanning more than two million square feet, Al Shera’a is designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification and WELL Gold certification, reflecting global standards in sustainability and human-centric design.
Supporting Dubai’s future vision
Al Shera’a aims to redefine government workspaces by combining sustainability, innovation and quality of life, while reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global leader in smart infrastructure and future city development.
