Dubai: Dubai Media Office said that a fire visible in the Al Jaddaf area was caused by a boat catching fire while docked in Dubai Creek, with no injuries reported.
In a statement, Dubai Media Office said the density of the smoke was due to the burning of fibreglass materials used in the boat’s construction.
Authorities urged the public to obtain information from official sources and to refrain from circulating rumours or inaccurate information.
