Dubai Municipality announced that the time required to provide 4 of its services will be reduced to less than a minute, a qualitative step aimed at improving the customer experience and enhancing the efficiency of municipal services.
The Municipality also indicated that starting next June, requests for these services will be submitted via smart channels, namely the "Dubai Now" application, the "Dubai Municipality" application, and the municipality's WhatsApp at 800900. This step is aimed at ensuring the speed of completion.
The municipality said these 4 services are:
- Control of public health pests
- Control of agricultural pests in home gardens
- Disposal of household appliances and furniture
- Draining sewage water
The Municipality pointed out that senior citizens and people of determination will still be able to submit their requests through the call center on 800900, to ensure that they receive the service easily and smoothly, which confirms that digital development in Dubai Municipality promotes equitable access to services in ways that suit all segments of society.
The conversion of receiving requests for these services to smart channels reflects the municipality's commitment to meeting customers' expectations, enhancing their quality of life, and executing their transactions quickly and efficiently, as the public can finish their requests in moments, saving time and effort, and contributing to improving the quality of daily life in the emirate.
