Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the resumption of the electrical abra service at Al Mamzar Station, following the completion of the detailed development works in the area. This is one of the new beach destinations developed by Dubai Municipality and extends over an area of 2.75 million square feet.

The service is available daily from 4 pm to 11 pm, and the last trip departs at 10:15 pm. The cost of the 30-minute trip is AED 60, while the cost of a full hour's journey is AED 120. The fees apply for the entire boat, which accommodates up to 8 passengers.

Residents and visitors can enjoy this maritime experience, which provides a calm, comfortable, and safe atmosphere, and allows families and friends to spend special times aboard the electric bus.

The resumption of the service comes as part of the Authority's efforts to expand recreational marine transport options, giving visitors to the Al Mamzar area the opportunity to enjoy the coastal views and stunning natural scenes of one of the most prominent marine and entertainment destinations in Dubai. It offers an integrated beach experience that combines entertainment, sports, and recreation, and is characterized by advanced infrastructure that places it among the most prominent water and beach destinations in the region.

The Authority pointed out that it is continuing its efforts to develop maritime transport services and modernize its fleet in accordance with international best practices, with a view to enhancing the quality of services and consolidating Dubai's position as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the world.
