Dubai: Even with the fast pace of life, there’s always time for some kindness … and a little dancing.
This week, two simple videos making the rounds on Instagram reminded thousands online that even in the middle of work shifts, traffic, deliveries and long hours, small moments of warmth can stop us in our tracks.
In one clip, a talabat delivery rider can be seen sitting quietly with a small bird perched comfortably on his hand. The bird doesn’t flinch. The rider gently strokes its head before leaning in to give it a kiss, almost like old friends catching up between deliveries.
The video was shared on different Instagram accounts, with one user commenting: “He must be a real human if [a] bird sits on his hand. So sweet.”
“Animals know,” another wrote.
In another video, a petrol station attendant can be seen bringing main character energy to an ordinary shift.
A video shared by Instagram user @georgiamarston showed a petrol station attendant guiding cars into place — except he was doing it with dance moves, grooving to Don’t Walk Away by Jade.
“Somebody give this guy a raise,” @georgiamarston wrote.
Comments on her video showed just how much people enjoyed the break on their feed of a worker just having fun.
“The magic when you simply love what you do and do what you love,” a user wrote.
Though unrelated, both videos showed how nothing really comes close to the joy of watching people simply enjoying being human.
