Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, said the Day of Arafah reflects the highest meanings of mercy and forgiveness.
In a post on his account on the X platform, Sheikh Maktoum said millions of pilgrims gather on the plains of Arafah with hearts full of supplication and hope, renewing the most meaningful human and Islamic values.
“On the Day of Arafah, the greatest meanings of mercy and forgiveness are manifested, and millions of pilgrims gather on the plains of Arafah with hearts full of supplication and hope to God, and the most beautiful human and Islamic values are renewed,” he said.
He also prayed for the continued stability and prosperity of the UAE and for peace worldwide.
“On this blessed day, we ask God to perpetuate the security, stability and prosperity of the United Arab Emirates, to protect our leadership, our people and residents on its land, and to spread peace and goodness throughout the world,” he added.
