His Highness attends the 'Zero Bureaucracy' award ceremony and launches the second phase of the programme
Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, attended the ceremony honouring the winning government teams in the second edition of the Zero Bureaucracy Award. His Highness praised the teams that have made streamlining procedures and accelerating services a core part of their daily work culture, establishing a government model that prioritises people.
His Highness congratulated the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure team on winning the “Best Government Team” award and extended his congratulations to all winners in this cycle. He also commended Emirates Post and its team for the significant improvements achieved in enhancing services and accelerating procedures, which led to their recognition this year.
At the conclusion of the awards ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the launch of the next phase of the programme, titled “Zeroing Out Bureaucracy Using Artificial Intelligence Assistance.” He explained that this phase represents a new era for government entities and teams, aimed at further streamlining procedures and building a faster, smarter, and more efficient government through the use of advanced technologies.
His Highness said in a post on the social media platform X: “We witnessed the honouring of the winning government teams in the second round of the Zero Bureaucracy Award—teams that have made simplifying procedures and accelerating services a core part of their work culture, establishing a government model that puts people first.”
His Highness added: “We congratulate the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure team on winning the ‘Best Government Team’ award, and we also congratulate all the winners. We commend the significant improvements achieved by Emirates Post and its team in developing services and expediting procedures, which earned them recognition in this round.”
His Highness continued: “With this recognition, we announce today the next phase of the programme, ‘Zeroing Out Bureaucracy Using Artificial Intelligence Assistance’ — a new phase for entities and teams aimed at further reducing procedures and building a faster, smarter, and more efficient government using modern technologies.”
