His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has affirmed that the UAE continues to consolidate its position as a global destination for investment and opportunities. The UAE has advanced to ninth place globally among foreign direct investment destinations, and for the third year in a row, it has maintained second place globally in the number of institutional foreign direct investment projects, with a total of 1,562 projects, he confirmed.
"According to the latest Global Investment Report, the UAE achieved record FDI inflows of AED 177.3 billion in 2025, a growth of 6%, while the FDI balance increased to AED 1.17 trillion," Sheikh Mohammed posted on his official account on the X platform.
"The UAE has moved to the ninth place globally among FDI destinations, and for the third year in a row, it has maintained the second place globally in the number of institutional FDI projects, with a total of 1,562 projects," he added.
"Our goal under the National Investment Strategy is to reach a foreign direct investment stock of AED 2.2 trillion by 2031 and attract AED 240 billion in annual foreign direct investment inflows... These figures are not mere economic indicators; rather, they are the fruits of a national vision, the work of a unified team, and global confidence in a country that has turned ambition into reality and opportunities into achievements... And what is to come for the UAE, God willing, is even more beautiful and greater," he concluded.
