Dubai: Sharjah City Municipality has announced a range of service measures and regulations to mark Eid Al Adha, aimed at enhancing convenience for residents and visitors while ensuring smooth operations across key sectors during the holiday.

As part of the initiative, public parking across the emirate will be free from Wednesday, May 27, to Friday, May 29. The exemption excludes smart parking zones and areas where fees apply throughout the week and on official holidays, which are marked by blue directional signs.

The municipality also confirmed the issuance of permits allowing commercial establishments to operate after midnight during the Eid holiday period, from May 27 to 29. This move is intended to support business activity, although it does not apply to construction contracting companies. Businesses can apply through the municipality’s official website.

For leisure facilities, Sharjah National Park and Rolla Park will remain open daily from 7:30am until midnight. Other parks will operate in two shifts: from 6:00am to 1:00pm and from 4:00pm to midnight.

Meanwhile, all medical fitness centres will be closed from May 25 to 29, with services resuming on Saturday, May 30, 2026, according to regular working hours.
