Temporary traffic diversion announced on Sharjah’s Al Khan Road
RTA urges motorists to follow alternative routes as infrastructure upgrades and bridge works begin
Dubai: Sharjah’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a temporary traffic diversion on Al Khan Road as part of ongoing development and expansion works, including the construction of new bridges aimed at improving traffic flow across the emirate.
The diversion will come into effect from tomorrow, Friday, as authorities continue efforts to upgrade infrastructure and ease congestion in the area.
The RTA has urged motorists to follow the approved traffic diversions, use alternative routes and adhere to traffic safety guidelines to ensure both their safety and the smooth movement of traffic during the construction period.
The project forms part of Sharjah’s broader plan to enhance road networks and support the emirate’s growing transportation needs.
