The UAE Embassy in Bangkok announced through its official account on X that smart gates are now available for UAE citizens at Thai airports, allowing them to complete arrival procedures independently. With this addition, the UAE joins a list of 33 countries whose citizens benefit from the service.
The embassy said that to use the service, Emirati travellers must have previously visited Thailand and completed the Thai Digital Arrival Card (TDAC).
It also clarified that holders of work visas are not eligible for the service and must complete entry procedures through immigration officers at the airports.
