UAE Ministry of Interior calls for caution during change in weather conditions

Flash flooding and water accumulation are expected in some areas, while reduced visibility and rough seas are also forecast - the MOI urges residents to avoid flood-prone zones and stay off beaches

Dubai: The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has urged caution due to the expected weather conditions in the country, which may include rain and winds of varying intensity, accompanied by thunder, lightning, and occasional hail, as well as reduced horizontal visibility in some areas.

The Ministry emphasised, via its social media account on the X platform, the necessity of following these instructions:

Exercise caution and remain alert.

Reduce speed on the roads.

Avoid areas prone to flash flooding and water accumulation.

Refrain from going to the sea and beaches.
