Dubai: With the sun down, temperatures are settling into the late-20s this evening.

Dubai is seeing a minimum of 28°C, while Abu Dhabi will be at 27°C. With slight sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, and wave heights reaching just one to three feet, it might be a good time to take advantage of nighttime beach excursions in the city.

Weekend weather

According to the National Centre of Meteorology, the same cannot be said of sea conditions over the weekend. Wind speeds are expected to pick up on Saturday, climbing from an average of 10 to 25km/h and reaching 40km/h, especially over coastal areas, resulting in seas that become rough at times.

Daytime temperatures over the weekend are expected to remain in the low- to mid-40s across inland and coastal areas. If you’re heading into mountain regions of the UAE, you can expect it to be relatively cooler there, with temperatures averaging mid-30s.
