Dubai: If you’re in Fujairah, there’s a good chance you will get to experience rain today.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts fair to partly cloudy weather, in general, with a probability of some convective cloud formation eastward by afternoon. This means areas like Fujairah, Kalba and Khor Fakkan may see scattered rainfall during the day.
Humidity increase
Meanwhile, temperatures are holding steady in the mid-30s across the UAE, with a slight increase in maximum relative humidity (RH) to 85% in Abu Dhabi and 70% in Dubai.
The NCM expects humidity to build up by tonight and on Wednesday morning over some coastal and internal areas, so there’s a likelihood of fog or mist formation in cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi will reach a high of 37°C today, while Dubai, Sharjah, and Umm Al Quwain will see a peak of 36°C. Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah will reach 35°C, while Fujairah will remain the coolest emirate, at 34°C.
Slight sea conditions
Here are the sea conditions along both eastern and western coasts, according to the NCM:
Arabian Gulf: Western shores will experience slight to moderate sea conditions, with wave heights reaching up to two feet on-shore, and up to four feet off-shore.
Oman Sea: The eastern coastline of the UAE will see slight sea conditions, with calm waves rising up to two feet on-shore, and up to three feet off-shore.
