Umm Al Qaiwain: The Court of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, has mourned the passing of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who passed away on Monday.
In a statement, the Ruler's Court extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and to the Al Maktoum family.
The court also announced 10 days of official mourning in Umm Al Qaiwain, with flags to be flown at half-mast beginning on Monday.
The statement expressed prayers for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased and extended sympathies to his family and relatives.
