Video: Dubai driver fined AED50,000 for breaking rules, putting lives at risk

Dubai Police has warned that breaking rules not only puts your life at risk, it also threatens everyone's safety.

To highlight the issue, police shared a video of a driver who was apprehended for deliberately removing his vehicle’s front plate before jumping a red light at high speed, putting others on the road in danger.

Under Decree No. (30) of 2023, vehicle impoundment with a release fine of AED 50,000 has been imposed, police said.
